Dear Wright House Families, Students, and Community Members,

Welcome to the 2026–2027 school year at Dr. Katie Harper Wright Elementary School!

It is an honor and privilege to continue serving as your principal. After an amazing first year with The Wright House community, I am excited for another year of growth, collaboration, and success. Together, we have built a strong foundation centered on relationships, high expectations, and a commitment to ensuring every student has the opportunity to thrive.

This year’s theme, “Level-Up to Excellence!”, challenges each of us to continue growing, pushing boundaries, and striving for our best each day. At The Wright House, excellence means creating a safe, supportive, and engaging environment where students are encouraged to learn, lead, and reach their full potential.

We believe that strong partnerships between our school, families, and community are essential to student success. We invite you to stay connected, participate in school events, and work alongside us as we support our students academically, socially, and emotionally.

Please join us for our Open House on Thursday, August 6, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet our amazing teachers and staff, visit classrooms, reconnect with friends, and begin another successful year together as one Wright House family.
